Garlic mushroom pasta recipe

This delicious garlic mushroom pasta recipe from 7 simple ingredients is so quick, easy and a total comfort food. It’s a simple dish that makes it perfect for a weeknight dinner. 


  • 1 pack Maccheroni pasta
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound white small button mushrooms
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley



  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the packet instructions.
  2. Drain when cooked.


  1. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the garlic.
  2. Place a large non-stick frying pan on a medium-high heat, add olive oil, mushrooms.
  3. Saute mushrooms for 5 minutes, or until golden, tossing regularly.
  4. Add garlic, mix and saute for one minute.
  5. Next, season mushrooms with salt and black pepper.


  1. Toss drained pasta and finely chopped parsley into the mushroom pan and stir everything together.
  2. Serve pasta on a plate or shallow bowl topped it with finely grated Parmesan.
  3. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.
