Peel and cube potatoes, chop onions, slice sausages, shred carrot, cube tomatoes.
Over medium heat add in a medium pot oil, onions and sausages.
When the onions begin to soften remove from the heat add paprika and mix.
Add water, shredded carrots, tomatoes, cubed potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are very tender.
In a bowl mix sour cream with some hot soup and pour over the soup from the pot. Mix well.
Add fresh lovage leaves at the end after the pot was removed from the heat.
Serve the soup hot with fresh bread, pickled hot peppers and their juice.
